Agentic consulting: what people search for

- Interest is huge but mostly "what is it": agentic ai gets about 110,000 US searches a month (+39 % in a year), UK 22,200 (+111 %).
- Buyers search for outcomes, not for "consulting": ai automation, ai workflow, ai agents for business (+210 %). That is where the clients are.
- Generic "AI for X" searches are falling (ai for marketing −38 %, ai chatbot for business −39 %). The market moved from chatbots to agents that do work.
- The exact phrase agentic ai consulting has no published volume. It is small and early: cheap to own now, before the big firms (whose ranking pages already exist) lock it in.
- DACH: use of AI agents in the Mittelstand nearly doubled (8.7 % to 16.6 %). The biggest brake is legal uncertainty, so AI Act, Datenschutz, Förderung belong in every page.

2. Buyer-intent terms: small, rising, worth the most
These are the searches of someone with a problem and a budget. Volumes are low, which is normal for B2B: one client is worth more than ten thousand curious readers.

4. What buyers weigh (the questions behind the searches)
- Does it actually ship? Ranking pages for "agentic ai consulting" are titled "who's actually shipping" and "ranked by agents shipped". Proof of agents in production beats strategy decks.
- Which first use case? Entry projects in DACH: offer support, lead qualification, sorting incoming requests with CRM data and a draft reply a person approves.
- Is it legal? 26.6 % of Mittelstand firms name legal clarity as their top wish. EU AI Act, GDPR and AI literacy are part of the job, not an extra.
- What does it cost? Fixed-price packages are more common in the Mittelstand than time and material. Pricing searches are rare but carry the highest intent.
- Is there funding? German comparison sites push state funding for consulting (BAFA). Check the current programme before using it in copy.
- Platform or partner? "ai agent platform" (2,400) and "openai agent builder" (5,400) show many try tools first, then look for help when it gets real.
5. DACH keyword set (German)
